Dr. Zayd Ratansi​

One of the lead  Pioneers in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy around the world.

 Dr. Zayd Ratansi is a licensed Naturopathic Physician with advanced certifications in hyperbaric medicine, bio-oxidative medicine, low level light therapy, chelation therapy and environmental medicine. Dr. Ratansi received his BSc from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and Doctoral of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington in 1998. Dr. Ratansi currently works as the Medical Director and Naturopathic Physician for Wellness Without Limits.

Dr. Ratansi began his practice where he served as the medical director for the first private multi-place hyperbaric oxygen chamber in Canada. For the next 6 year he oversaw and directed over 90,000 pressurized hyperbaric oxygenation treatments, and fine-tuned a one-month recovery program for some very debilitating conditions. 

 Dr. Ratansi specializes in the treatment of brain injuries and other neurological conditions using hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Ratansi lectures worldwide on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions and has played a leading role in implementing protocols on the use of hyperbaric therapy in the mainstream medical setting. He also has been extensively trained in Environmental Medicine and has helped implement safe detoxification and cleansing programs along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy within the spa industry helping to advance Medical Spas throughout the world.

 Of note, Dr. Ratansi is an active member and trainer for the International Hyperbaric Association (IHA) and closely works with the organization to help advance the field of hyperbaric therapy.
Patients have flown in from all over the world to experience his treatment protocols, reporting astounding results.

His passion is to help integrate science-based natural medicine into conventional practice, and currently works as the medical director for Wellness Without Limits, a US-based company that closely works with fitness gyms, spas, and healthcare facilities, to implement these protocols within their fields.

Christina Faria, Operations Manager
Christina is a well-versed educator and user of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). She is a loving dog-mom, daughter and sister. In the office she is a certified hyperbaric chamber tech, specialist in lights, oils, and all modalities offered at Healing Air Hyperbarics.

Christina has a passion for all-natural healing with the integrative approach. She uses her experience with HBOT to help educate clients in the various ways that this therapy can help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Cheryle Orefice, Owner and Hyperbarics Expert

Cheryle is a successful businesswoman and in 2014 dedicated her business and continuing education to hyperbaric therapies. Cheryle has been mentored over the last 10 years by Dr Zayd Ratansi, ND, one of the forerunners in modern hyperbaric medicine.  

It was in 2014 that Cheryle witnessed the healing power of hyperbaric therapy first hand. Her new mission and passions started with making hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) available in the Portland metro area. Following the character and spirit that has always driven her, Cheryle jumped in to educate herself and become a self-taught hyperbaric expert. With this knowledge she is able to educate the clients who come into her clinic, and she gives access to herself and outside resources to anyone who seeks to better their health and overall wellness.

 Cheryle continues to network with the professionals who are, and have been, on the cutting edge of HBOT, LED light therapy and other modalities of healing. These partners in healing value her expertise and work closely with her to achieve the mission of healing through natural means.

Katie Hehn, Project and Support Specialist
Katie is the newest member of our team, and the single mom of a pre-teen son. She brings with her 10 years of experience working in a medical office. She graduated in 2004 from Western Business College with a degree in Medical Assisting. During her time in the clinical setting she learned about medications, chronic and acute diseases and how to care for people over a long period of time. Katie’s administrative skills are being used to improve our clinic’s documentation, organization and presence in business networking.

Katie has a passion for serving her community and for learning. She desires to help the clients at Healing Air Hyperbarics achieve wellness while utilizing the all-natural approach favored by our office and Dr Ratansi.

She has recently received her certification as a chamber tech, and desires to continue learning all that she can about the modalities used to assist our clients reach their optimum health.
